Smile 2000 text success

Recently posted on the runaround I was getting from verizon customer service on the free 2000 text messages available for PDA's. After the rep assured me that this 'old' program was no longer available, I decided to call the 'tech' department directly. Well,to make a long story shorter, The courteous tech rep had the program added to my account in about 3 minutes.
Thanks for the info.

Default Direct call to VZW

Two ways to speak directly to a tech: You can dial 611 on the Q (customer service) and follow the prompts, or you can dial 1-800-922-0204 , That's the direct # to tech support. After that I merely told the courteous young man that I had heard from users on E.Q's forum (It's amazing how much respect E.Q. has),that this plan was available for PDA users and it was included on request with thier data plan. The tech verified, and had it added ,free of charge, to my account almost immediatel.
Hope this helps.
