Not even listed as one of the current models in testing. I did hear that there may be a WM6 version for USC later this year, but nothing is confirmed.

My significant other is a USC employee, and I asked him about the Q9, and he seriously doubts they will be gettting that..

that's to bad to. Living in southern Iowa, USC is all I'm able to get (to keep a local number anyway) and it seems as though they are always the last to get the cool stuff. Small market I guess is the reason for that.

I didn't even know about the Q until June or July when one of my buddies picked it up, and then I got mine in november, only to find out it's been out for a couple of years now.

Oh well I guess, eventually I'll be in an area with ATT or TMobile, but even though it's the first gen Q, I still like it a lot.

There is are a few plus's to getting the older stuff:
1. cheeper, I got my q for 60 after rebates.
2. Look at the Q community, it rivals most well established pda's.
3. Along with #2, there is a ton of software + support that with newer stuff you have to wait on.
4. With USC, an unlimited plan for under $25 a month is not too shabby, there is nothing like surfing the net while at the mall waiting on my wife cloths shopping!!

You make excellent points. Sometimes its easy to lose site of the positives for being with the 'little guys'.

What position is your significant other in?

No official announcement of the phone but it does show up in AIM under the model selector after you enter a moto esn. color says dark pearl too.

USCC will get the HTC 6800 as their new WM 6 smartphone by end of MArch and the Q9 by June/July.
