any1 know if you can send pictures to another phone using us cellular?

welcome aboard... at this point in the time the only provider supporting MMS on the Q is Verizon, you can however email them from any Q.. (w/ working email setup of course)

Also keep in mind you can also BT pics to other phones, or beam then via IR. Obviously the phones would have to be in the same vicinity to do so.

You can send picture messages to other phones, but you must do it through email on the Q. You can send it to their provider's MMS mail address. I've included a few below. In all cases, replace TDMN with the person's Ten Digit Mobile phone Number.

Alltel - TDMN@message.alltel.com
AT&T - TDMN@mms.att.net
Cingular (AT&T) - TDMN@mms.mycingular.com
Sprint - TDMN@messaging.sprintpcs.com
T-Mobile - TDMN@tmomail.net
US Cellular - TDMN@mms.uscc.net
Verizon - TDMN@vzwpix.com

...and if I'd known about that post, I would have! Thanks for pointing it out. I only knew of the addresses I pointed out above. You have some of the more obscure carriers listed there. Also, I had a different address for text messages on USCC customers (@text.uscc.net), which no longer appears valid. Again, thanks Rudeboy.


Rudeboy, you get an extra thanks, because you just helped me figure out why we haven't been able to get my corporate email set up yet on my Q. They had the same SMS address as I had, so the CAB file they've been sending to install the cert file was not coming through! Like I said, thanks again.

I actually added each one of those addresses to my contact list, with a first name of the carrier, and a last name of either MMS or TXT as appropriate, so I can pull them up for reference as needed. This is the kind of reference you need to have close up!
