is there anyway to get more speed off uscc data network?
this thing is slow...i want close to 640k how do i get it?

I don't think 1X can go that fast. I seem to remember the high rate for 1X was somewhere in the 200s

If 1X gets those speeds, what kind of speeds can I expect from EVDO?

evdo is fast..but im only getting roughly 550kbs (wih evdo)

Same here. My Orb speed test normally show in the 550 range but I've seen the mid 600s a few times.
