Default Software Update Now Available

Just wanted to let you know that there is a software update for USC customers using the Moto Q9c at http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto...y_software.asp

I am not sure what issues this is suppose to fix but I am hoping it will correct the problem with the phone re-starting on its own.

I just did the update like 5 mins ago and everything went smooth except for a few issues. It removed any recently installed apps. It deleted my cookies, and deleted all of my email accounts. Other than this it seems to have kept everything else as I had it set up. Just be sure to select the option to save personal information. At least I still have all of my contacts!

I will let you know if this update solved the restarting issue.

Did it fix the restarting issue for you?

By the way for others who are interested, here is a more direct link to the update:

Yes, it fixed the restart issue. Not one reboot since I installed it on Saturday morning.
