 |  I left all my software and cables at the shop but I totally forgot that my new notebook has Bluetooth and so I was able to download and transfer the proper file. I got Windows Live all loaded and working but still have not got the "push" going yet. I tried sending an email to my hotmail account from my pc and from my pc thru a different email account and neither one came thru automatically on my Q. I have it set to "when available and always" but still nothing. What else am I missing? |

It'll say if it was successful and you should see your read mail on the mail screen and at least your email address at the bottom. I'm hoping that was it! | Yes, I have a Q1 for US Cellular. I think it may be working. At least some time. My battery only lasts a day. So I get up every morning and the phone is dead and I change the battery. When I changed the battery and fired it up, there were no emails even though I had 3 new emails. But, later this morning, my phone alerted me to a new email. So some success. Thanks so much for all the help. I am glad I stumbled on this forum. My main reason for getting the Q was to be alerted of email without having to actually check the email. |

| I noticed a comment said ...........I have it set to "when available and always" .... I haven't found a place to change any setting to this .... my sending goes automatically but new messages aren't coming in automatically. Any help would be appreciated. |

| New - Hotmail/Gmail Email Sync Help! Greetings and salutations: I received my new Q after the last one fell into flash mode. I have no idea how to get my hotmail to show up under account options, and also synch my Outlook with my gmail account. I am not a technical person and have no idea what a cab file is. I feel like a complete techno idiot. Here's what shows up on my phone under messaging: A. Tex Messages B. Outlook Email (yes I wanna sync this with my gmail account) C. MMS On my previous phone, I had a "hotmail" option. Don't know where that went and how to get it back....help  Thanks- Smiley  |
