Hey, i just get my new cell phone moto q and i want set up e-mail account that CAN make my phone vibrating.... i already ahve gmail account but it won't vibrating my phone i have click 'send/receieve' all the time to just get e-mail please help me i need get it done by saturday i saw homescreen Text Message (2) and Email (0) at least i want TO see email (2)

didn't we just go over this ? it is not necessary to keep making new threads with basically the same question.

the vibrate option is set in the Profiles.

check out this thread for the zero email counter solution.

ur answer did help me yea but... it WON'T vibrate and i won't receieve any emails unless i click 'send/receieve' all the time and it is annoyed hell out of me i want receieve email ANY TIME not click send/receive all the time and someone told me i have to PERSONAL e-mail in my phone so it WILL vibrating and i don't think Gmail account will work though

dunno where you heard that... if you go to Start Menu > Settings > Profiles and edit the desired profile (Menu > Edit) change the Notification type to "Vibrate".. has nothing to do with the account type.

for the automatic fetching of mail... go through the account settings as i mentioned before, see this step:

again, choose what you want - remember, checking more frequently will eat battery time! (I leave it to NEVER - and check manually myself)

im lost when u said connect auto... where is that? please clarifed

okay..
1. go to Messaging
2. select any of those
3. choose Menu
4. Options
5. Account Options
6. choose account (Gmail)
7. Next, Next till you see: Connect automaticlly and check for messages:
8. set this to how often you want it to check.
9. Next
10. Finish

still not clear ? overnight the phone to me and i will set it for you :}

Does this overnight option apply to me as well??
