Default Got my new q9c yesterday

I love it, but a few things I haven't been able to quite figure out yet:
1)Can I change the order of the icons at the start menu? (Right now you have to scroll to the "settings" icon, which is what I seem to use the most).
2)Can I change the order of my contacts? Right now they are listed alphabetically by last name and I like to pull my contacts by first name.
3)My old phone would automatically power up bluetooth when my bluetooth device was turned on, but it would appear that I have to do this manually now. In order to conserve the battery obviously I don't want to leave this function on but the old phone would cycle on and off automatically...any ideas?
and lastly (and most importantly):
Is there a way to kill programs when they close as opposed to using the task manager? Seems silly that it would remain running in the background if I closed it manually...maybe they need to have a close or minimize option because as I see it: When you close it you are truly only minimizing it until you physically go in the task manager and kill it.

Thanks...

The contacts can be viewed by first name by editing each contact, scrolling down until until you reach an option that allows them to be displayed by first name. It's how I have mine set as well. I did not find any way to change them as a group, all had to be changed individually. As for your other questions, I have no answers.

Don't have a 9Qc so can't answer most of your questions, but for #2 I've heard mention on the forum of an app called Contact Changer that will switch the order for you.

I'll try to help:

1) Nope. You can change how it is displayed by going to Settings> Personalize my Q>Start menu view, but I don't think it allows you to change the order.

2) I don't think so. You can set it to be viewed by Name or by Company, but that's it I think.

3)Go to Bluetooth>Bluetooth Manager>Settings> and turn your bluetooth on. After you have the units paired, when you power up your headset your Q9c should automatically connect and switch to "headset mode".

4) there is no automatic way for programs to be "killed" when you close them. I do believe there is a 3rd party application out there somewhere that will do this for you. Check the forums at EverythingQ.com, I bet you can find a reference to it there. For the most part, having the programs "open" doesn't do much to affect your Q's operation.

Good luck!
