I have a uscc Q and i go up to milwaukee alot and i have got over 1 meg on my phone with like 150-200 ms ping. I also have a sprint Q that i use as primary and i get the same speed just about everywhere i go. btw i live in okc metro...

I was told by a national rep that Chicago would be the 'next' EVDO foray for USCC. It makes sense, but I sure wish they would get it in St. Louis. I'm feeling the NEEED for speed. I may have to jump ship!!

we deserve it.........o btw i was in the STL and i got excellent survice over there especially near the ram stadium and the train station mall

Of course, the big question is WHEN??? I keep hearing how Chicago will be getting EV-DO, but my Q is still sufferin' on 1X.

This is encouraging news that Chicago will be getting EVDO in the near future. Like others I want to know when. The Internet speed is not what I was hoping for when I purchased the Q in May and I am hoping the EVDO will speed things up. That would be great. If EVDO is not rolled out in the next few months I will jump ship to another company that does have it.

NOOOOOOO lol..........dont switch from U.S cellular they have great plans for 08-09........have u noticed their new add campaign? there whole new style and approach? thats the last piece to the puzzle.....there sending EVDO to chicago first then st louis......... and how do i knw all this? i had a long talk with a U.S cellular rep today he's real cool hes the one who sold me my Q

Did the rep from US Cellular give you any kind of timeline for things? Also I have seen the new ads and billboards but to me nothing has changed. I would like to know what the meat and potatos are of this new marketing campaign. Did you hear anything on that?

for 1 the time line he did not give me but it he said it should be underway before 08 is over......

2 the whole " meat and potatoes " behind the new marketing campaing is the EVDO and the new phones ...just hold ya horses..its coming...

Thanks Corey. I hope EV-DO is rolled out rather soon and I also hope I feel the benefits of this new marketing campaign sooner rather than later. If you hear anything else about this please let me know. Thanks again.

yes i hope so to tom...besides i really cant see ma self with any other company...........defently not Verizon or sprint............mayb AT&T/Cingular.......hmph
