Map looks good for where I travel (Mostly 95). I am curious if anyone has any actual experience with the service in Maine.

I travel from North Hampton, NH to Saco, ME during the week (M-F) along 95. I don't lose signal for the entire trip. In addition, I can use PDAnet to connect in Saco, and get decent speeds.

I have no problems with my Q along that length.

I'm on Verizon Wireless, if that matters.

Good luck.

It does matter whether you are on Verizon Wireless or US Cellular.

US Cellular has a wide coverage area, but speeds of about 70kb/sec. Verizon's is significantly better in areas (not all of Maine)

THe system is 1x in Maine instead of EV-DO. The US Cellular rep said that he was optimisitc that we'd have that service in Maine in about 18 months.

Short and sweet. No.

USC plans on an EVDO roll out soon, but right now it is only in Wisconsin.

We're all looking forward to it, trust me.

What RyanHickman said. We're still testing it in Milwaukee. Everything I've seen says we'll roll it out next year. But I have nothing more precise than that.
