I don't think there has been any "official" word yet, but it is said to be probable. It is also said it takes quite abit of time for a major carrier such as Sprint to make a release of WM6.
Saw WM6 for download on the newsgroups actually, wounder what would happen if you installed it on a Sprint Q?! A little too risky for me....
Microsoft is giving away licences of WM6 Professional (PocketPC Version) freely to manufacturers that want to upgrade their old devices. I don't know if they are doing that for WM6 Standard as well but it would not suprise me. WM6 is how Microsoft is pushing Live Anywhere onto cell phones it seems, I'm sure they want as many devices to support it as possible, still, the maufacturers/carriers have to pick it up.
T-Mobile is updating the Dash for certain, which is direct competition with the Q, there has already been a user-made upgrade for another device as well. Right now I'm leaning on the, "they're probably gonna do it" side, but the question is when.
