Question What would you do????

So here is what happened and I need to know how to use it to my fullest advantage.

I tried to sign up for a sprint sero plan and accidentally ended up on a completely unlimited everything plan and only have to pay $7 a month for the insurance on my Q9c, everything else is free, in other words they think i am a Sprint employee. So i talked to a sprint employee in the call center and told them what happened and this lady said that it was my choice if i wanted to be transfered over to that department and tell them of their mistake or not. So do i run with it for a while or tell them and get extra bonuses for being honest?

here's what's gonna happen...they do audits of employee accounts every month. when they come across your line and find out that you are no longer, er never was, an employee, they will shut the phone down. This will cause you to call in and deal with it on thier time instead of yours....in my experience they will offer you a sero plan...

If it was a mistake where they were only charging you a few bucks less then you should have been, I would let it slide, .
But since this is an entire plan, I would call them. They would either backcharge you cancel your account. Then you may have to deal with the whole bad credit issue, which I think would apply. This person still owes Sprint X amount of dollars and didn't pay so we shut the number down. Would be hard to get an account with another carrier.

You can still get sero though.

Hard to pass up $7 a month for unlimited...I wonder if you set up automatic billing AND they eventually found out, if you could claim negligence saying that you thought you were automatically being billed the correct amount and that you just never noticed it...hmmmmm

But seeing how Sprint is going these days, if you want them to stick around for the cheaper plans, its best not to shaft them.

Forgive my ignorance but whats a "sero" plan? And how did you pull off getting signed up to like this in the first place? I disagree with everyone else. Sprint has screwed us all for a long time, customer service sucks, they attach odd unexplainable charges to our bills repeatedly, hoping we wont notice, and for the most part...we dont! So run with it! What "bonuses are they gonna give you for being honest? NOTHING! claim ignorance and if it comes to it, fight them when they try to take your "gift-from-the- phone-gods" away! Theyve over charged me, billed me for services I didnt sign up for and the latest thing, the kicker if you will, is I cancelled my phone as a modem plan 2months ago (wasnt using it enough and i was an idiot for not researching pda.net on here! Thanks for all the reviews btw guys!) and signed up for a $15 a month unlimited power vision plan,... or so I thought! 2months later and $180 of 3cents-a-kb charges they wont and CANT im told, (cuz of a new billing system being in place now that prohibits them from going back farther than two months?), take off, and cuz they dont have a "record" of me asking for the vision plan that day, just cancelling my phone as a modem plan!??? And then they had to add insult to injury, by saying that NEXT month, they were gonna block my internet connection and contact me cuz It seemed to them like maybe, JUST MAYBE, something was wrong with my plan due to the charges being so outrageous?! So yeah...... I say stick with screwing them PLEASE! (just for me, LOL).

Smile Here is how it all turned out

So i call directly into customer service for the Employees and let the man know that i am quite irritated for having to call and fix their mistake but i wanted to be honest and let them know i am not an employ he let me know that they do an audit once a month so they would ve found out so this is where i started faking as if i was upset. So I asked what he was going to do for me and it ends up that he does not charge me for the time i have had that last account and also he set me up a new account but free for the first month. So i felt pretty good but was going for more than that but he wasnt going to budge so i simply called customer service back and said what happened and i had decided to go back to t-mobile if it was going to be like this by the end of the conversation i had nights free starting at 6 instead of 7 and also a free 100 minutes on to my account. So even though i don not have unlimited everything for free i feel good about my situation. ANd the honesty paid off
