No, but that doesn't mean that you can't stream audio or video from the web over the EVDO network. (Which is the Power in PowerVision as opposed to the 1x 'net that is/was Vision) The rest is simply packaging additional features to leverege the newer, faster 3G netweor.

Not Moto, but Sprint sales & marketing, folks... You can still get audio & video over your PowerVision MotoQ (EVDO network - Sprint's standardized PowerVision add-ons just aren't compatible)

Think network technology (EVDO & PowerVision) vs. standardized feature packages (PowerTV pack, etc OVER the 3G 'net)

Cheers!

PS - I've found some cool audio & video links on my search - I think better, and more personal than the rubbish Sprint packages, anywho - IMHO...

Not only was the Moto Q rushed into the Sprint market very aggressively, but it's now leaving a lot of tech-savvy customers pissed off, in terms of the phone's ability with Sprint's network. As a Moto Q/Sprint customer, I couldn't care less about MMS, PowerVision, and SprintTV. They have the best data package available, for the dollar. Furthermore, this is a business-oriented smartphone, not a portable entertainment center.

HOWEVER, my biggest grudge with Sprint PCS and owning the Motorola Q, is that there's a near-100% possibility that this phone may never see Windows Mobile 6 upgradability, rendering this phone obsolete in the near future - NOW, THAT SUCKS!

Problem 1: To this day, the online User guide STILL lists a miniSD card and stereo headset listed as included accessories.
I tried to let them know it should be changed, to avoid future clients from being confused/misled, who might not find out until they find the "please disregard that reference" leaflet inside the box.

Problem 2: It's listed under PowerVision phones. Why? Is it strictly because it's EVDO capable ? (Or would that still work under the Vision plan)
Not having Picture/Video MMS enabled, no SprintTV, SprintMusic, etc, I just feel it's misleading listing it under Power Vision.
When I described this to a rep in a triple threaded eamil, the response totally overlooked my point and responded as such:

I have checked and noticed that Motorola Q handset is Power Vision capable handset. So, you can use Power Vision features on this handset.

ME: Thank you.
The PowerVision plan is enabled, but while the Motorola Q is listed as a Power Vision phone, it actually doesn't support the "power" feature
(SprintTV, radio, PictureMail/MMS, VideoMail, etc.)
A little complaining goes a long way. I know, ive gotten lots out of retentions because of it.
