Will the battery life on the Q9c be all that better given the same operating conditions. I heard the are putting it out with an extended battery but that IMO ruins the slim and cool profile. Got one and don't use it unless I away from my chargers.

Talked to retentions yesterday and thats what they could offer me---$149 for the Q9c. I pressed pretty hard with my "the Q is defective argument" and this was her response: "I have the Q and I haven't had any of those problems".....sigh. Essentially they are giving us the contract extension price even if we are not eligible. By the way, she said I could do the same thing for the Touch: $249. Actually, I'm seriously considering the Touch.

My thoughts exactly. Thats why I'm seriously considering the Touch.

I just called Sprints retention department. I complained about the issues with the Q and that i have been a long time Sprint customer. I also stated that i was on the Verizon test run for 30 days and thart i am considering switching because of the issues I have with my Q. After stating that the retention department is sending me a FREE Moto Q 9c. I suggest that everyone wanting the upgrade say what i said and see where it goes. You jsut need to be firm and let them know you will leave Sprint and switch to Verizon if they do not upgrade the phone i also have the insureance plan so that helped in replacing but they were only going to send another Q until I told them everything i listed. Good Luck!!

you could just wait for it to go one sale at say bestbuy for a low price with new activation. add it as a line to your account. wait a few days. (you get 30days to try it out) cancle to line and ask them to port the phone to your main line. say that you got the phone as a present for your daughter who is going off to school but she already bought a new phone.

worked for my wife and I

Randall,

Welcome to the posting-world of EQ. Sometimes the prices of new phones are contingent on at least 30 days of line activation, and then the rebates are able to be approved.... Apparently, you found one that didn't follow that method...

Later,

Matt!

This did not work for me. I told them exactly what was listed above, and they told me I'm sorry, but we can offer you the new q9c for $149.99. They were ready to cancel my service also, if I wanted that as an option.

I just did a *2 and tried...nadda...0...zip. They told me since I got my Q in Feb., I was not due for any discount until then. For the record that is $75 off of $449. Kind of disappointing at first, then the rep tells me to look at www.sprintbuyback.com --they buy your phone back from you she says. I think wow what a great idea why haven't I heard of this. Then I found out why I had never heard of it, they offer $25 credit for my Q. Must say, little annoyed that the rep suggested that as an alternative.

Any suggestions?
Anthony

They offered to take 200 off any phone for me. So the Q9 would be 250. I said no thanks, and they put a $25 dollar credit on my acount too. Oh well, Il call back later, but my Q has been missing lots of calls for a month or so now and its very anoying.
