Update?? - Motorola Q Forum

Hey All,
I just received my Q today. From everything I've read on this forum and everybody I,ve talked to says, to do an update to my phone a.s.a.p. my question is were? i've been to motorolas site and seen updates for verizon but not sprint. So..... does anybody know were??

The update is only for Verizon Q's.. Sprint Q's already have the updated software.

The new Verizons have the update as well. You may want to check if you really need the update, you may already have it.

bot my Q on Jan 6 and it does not have the update.

Interesting, I bought mine in December and it had the update. Guess it varies.

You can go to motorola's site and use the update program. If you are up to date it will tell you.

Be aware if you do update it will erase all your 3rd party applications and files you have put on your phone.

YEP! It does tell you. It's almost a no brainer.
