Ok, money is not an issue with cell phone companies..hands down, they rip people off every month. I'm not saying they need to hire more people to spit BS to customer, but a better team to handle additions to these phones. They need to listen to their customers, the ones who give them money every month, and add the things that are feasible to add to the Q. Once they do something like this, then they will become an amazing company. It's really not that hard either. I work for a software company and to see the amount of projects we go through just to please a customer is insane.

Just because they have a ton of money doesnt mean its not an issue. It doesnt matter if a company has 10.00 or 10,000,000,000.00 they still see it the same way

Well they do not see if from a customer's perspective then. They see it from a business perspective which isn't always the right thing.

People make an investment in a phone. I know since I have gotten on the smartphone/PDA bandwagon, I expect more out of my provider in the means of updates and support because these phones cost the most over a basic flip phone. I guess in the end, the only point I was trying to make is that they should change the way they do business with these types of phones and listen to the customers more.

what they should do (from a customer's perspective) and what they do do are two different things. They make more money from attracting new customers and having current customers upgrade to take advantage of new features that they can bill for. Keeping current customers with current technology happy that only want to do the status quo are a minority for them because for the most part, they are too lazy or too entrenched to really go elsewhere. And the ones that do leave are acceptable losses compared to the new business they will get.

This is the same concept of crap the video game industry is going through with game updates. People argue they should be free and companies charge for them or they skip them to make a new game instead since that will make the most money.

In the end, it would be better if they would just offer the update to WM6 because I'd be willing to pay for it. If they take that perspective then maybe it will be something they would look into.

I'd pay a fee to upgrade to wm6 if it was reasonable. Somewhere between $20-30 would seem reasonable. And if they're not going to have the Q9 for awhile, you'd get many who'd probably pay for it. Not that I'd be happy to have to pay for it, but it's better than the "FU, buy the new phone" attitude you'd expect them to have.

Now email your same question to 30 more srpint reps. you'll get 25 different conflicting answers and you'll be lucky if 1 of them is actually right. lol

sorry to say about 89% of them seem to have no clue what it is they're talking about.

Default Is there a hack...

...To get around all of the stuff that Sprint is not letting us correctly used. There seems to be so many things that other carriers can do that we can't. Is someone willing to look into the technical parts of their phones and tell us what you have and maybe we can replicate it on our phones and be able to use some of these utilities that the Sprint designers were obviously too stupid to figure out. I want to figure it out. Motorola boasts all of the great things that this phone can do. What is the use of telling me what it can do, if the idiots at Sprint lock me out of them. (if it takes ruining a few Qs, I will)
