Default Sprint Vs Verizon

Hello everyone. I am done with my Verizon conract next month. I have a few questions for you sprint people.

1. Is sprint service as good as Verizon service. I want a Q and I want to have good coverage, but have heard rumors of Sprint lacking coverage. I loooked at the coverage map and it said that coverage information is not available but it was green so who knows?

2. The price is much cheaper than Verizon's price is there any particular reason?

3. Can I get this Q through the Sero plan?

Lastly can you please let me know how your experiences have been with Sprint and how the service is and anything else you would like to throw in!! Thanks in advance

Ok, here's my spin: 1. Sprint service can be lacking in some areas, but it does both data and voice roaming for free, so there is no problem there. Also, don't forget sprint gives you 30 days to try it out.
2. Sprint wants to get people to sign up, so they offer better prices to steal from the competition.
3. You can get the Q, but so far the only route has been a roundabout way, which means u get something else, and trade it in at the sprint store. If you have one nearby, simply order any other phone, and then go to the sprint store and trade it in. Its as easy as that!

Sprint is awesome with their customer service, and retentions can get u almost anything u like if you know how to talk to them. And Sprint is an amazing carrier, because they have live TV on other phones, on demand and unlimited internet (unlike verizon's limits 5 GB or less!) for 30 a month included in the SERO plan!!!

Thanks for the info. So basically what you are saying with the coverage is that even if there isn't a Sprint tower I can get my service by roaming for free.

Exactly, just remember sprint could drop u for roaming too much, but if your in an area near a tower it shouldn't be a problem. If u get sprint, PM me and we can get a 25 dollar visa gift card!

I willl let you know when I switch over. It really doesn't make any sense to stay with Verizon from what I can see. Especially if the Data is included in that 30$ a month. How can you beat that?

ive been with sprint for 8 years and counting now...just switched over to the 30 buck a month sero plan...with the q. i remember the motoq no being on the sero site for a while...then it was...then hey took it down again. if u want the q without having to exchange it, try calling up. they might be able to hook you up.

as for differences in service?
sprint = shweet
vz = anal...at least in terms of data and what you can do with your phones. ive been tethering on sprint ever since the sanyo scp 5000 at no extra charge
i would say the advantage verizon has is voice and coverage. almost everybody i know has verizon and a lot of people opt for free m2m
