Default Sprint TV etc...

According to the Sprint website, the Q supports Sprint TV and give directions to access it. The directions mention things that my Q does not have. Am i missing something here? Also, can you download songs from sprint? Someone on this forum has already informed me that sprint games, ringtones and wallpapers dont work, so i guess i should assume songs wont either. A sprint rep told me they would. Your takes?? THANKS

Thanks you guys! It really is quit disturbing that the CSR gave me info that was so off. I was going to purchase the data pack anyways, but what if that was the selling point that got me to buy? He was telling me how great Sprint Tv was and about song downloads. Hell, even the sprint website gives "Q specific" instructions for sprint tv. thats terrible! Well, like you said, because of these forums, ive been able to get by. Thanks everyone!

another thing, make sure your only paying the $15 unlimited internet package. they try and sell the $20 and $25 package to people all the time that offer those extras when they dont work. dont let them overcharge you.

I'm not sure how I ended up getting this, but I am paying $10 a month for unlimited vision. I was paying $15, but in May of this year, my bill started showing $10 a month. If you can get that plan, even better....

I copied the sprint web page that gave Q specific directions on how to access SprintTV and sent it to a CSR. They gave me $5 off/month for a year of my data plan due to the misprint.

here's the link:
http://support.sprint.com/doc/sp3159...revPageIndex=4

Another link:
http://support.sprint.com/doc/sp3159...revPageIndex=7

These are directly from Sprint's Motorol Q support pages.

And here is the email I sent them:

Dear eCare,

I recently purchased the Motorola Q along with the Sprint data access
pack on a new 2 year customer agreement. I purchased this phone largely
based on an entry on your website located at:

(Websites located above)

This is a webpage specific to the Motorola Q. It states that to access
Sprint TV, I can select Channel Listing in my media player and then
select Sprint TV. This is unavailable to me and I have recently come to
find out that Sprint TV and picture mail is unavailable to us Q users.
This to me has been very confusing as I was basing my decision for a
phone based on the information gathered from your website. Also, on my
sprint bill, the description for the Sprint Power Vision Access Pack
that I am being billed for states specifically (quoted from your bill):

"Get unlimited Web and Data access, up to 10 Sprint Music radio
channels, Sprint TV channels including NFL Network, CNN, E! and Fox
Sports. You also get Picture Mail, On Demand, access to Sprint
Navigation, NFL Mobile & more."

I find that this is also misleading. I am paying the same $15 that
everyone else is to access these same services, however I am unable to
access them. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
Thank you.

They in turn came back offering to swith phones or $5 credit for 12 months. I chose the credit
