| Sprint Telemarketing So I got a phone call today from someone claiming to be a sprint rep. They told me I was eligible for an upgrade in my phone and plan. The funny thing is, I just signed up with the sero plan and got a new phone in November. So I doubt that I qualify for an upgrade after 4 months. She didn't have any info about my account other than the fact that I could upgrade with her over the phone to a cheaper plan with more minutes. Ha!! how can you get cheaper than the Sero plan. I wasn't gunna give her any of my account info. I was with sprint for four years with my old phone and never got a phone call from them ever. Now when I get a new number and new phone they call me after 4 months??? Was this call ligit? I feel like they owe me the 4 anytime min they stole from me. Anyone get calls from sprint? |

One time, I got one of these calls less than a week after my wife and I had renewed our family plan contract for another two-year period. |

| I got 2 phone calls within a matter of days. They wanted me to add a phone to my account. When I explained to the lady that I didn't need another phone as I have no one to give it to. She was like but it's free! So I said okay let me make sure we're on the same page.....you going to give me another phone that I don't need meaning I will have 2 phone numbers and the other number will be sharing my minutes. Why on earth would I do that simply to get a phone that I don't need. She actually got belligerent with me because I didn't want to add the phone.
I am pissed because I see that the Simply Everything plan is now available worldwide but when I called Sprint to get it I keep getting hung up on. I tell the rep what I want and they transfer me to someone that hangs up on me. Has happened twice and the website is having problems so can't do it there.

They try anything to get you to add stuff to your account cause in the long run you get charged more fees for having that second line open. |

The guy said I was always going over my minutes each month, so they can take care of that by offering me a new plan, with more minutes. When I said I have never gone over my voice minutes, the guy didn't know what to say. Not sure how they got my number, but sounded like a scam.... |

| Some ARE legit When you sign up, renew a plan, etc, is WHEN they call you. The reason for this is because you're changing, meaning, you're trying new stuff, not yet set, etc and they want to get you to change. As of recently, Sprint has been have trouble keeping users, so they are actually offering a bunch of free things to users. I got a call after getting my Q, stating I was eligible for 10 percent off if I buy a new phone, or upgrade a plan. I stated I just had, and they applied the 10 percent to my account. These companies are not sprint, but work for sprint. They are legit as far as I know, but if you want, you can have them do things for you to prove it. I dunno, so, anyways , I see the 10 percent discount on my bill each month now and assume its legit. lol |

When the guy called me, the end result would be me paying more a month for a higher plan, when I didn't use all the minutes in my current plan.... So for me, it didn't work out too well... |

| I got another call on friday evening. I told them to take me off their calling list. The guy said that it could take upto a month to update the no call list. It was the same # so now I have it saved to my contacts in order to ignore it when they call. |
