I also got the same call a couple of months ago. They wanted to give me a free phone and change my plane to a family plan, after checking it out I said no, but I got them to upgrade my fairly new Q to a Q9c for $249 - $50 service credit - $100 mail in rebate= $100. The rebate showed up a couple weeks ago,but it was for $200. Yeah the customer:-)

Jinxed myself . . . got two (!) telemarketing calls from Sprint today (during work hours, no less). Somehow, I think what they offer me won't beat out my SERO plan . . .

I have received two calls from them. The first guy I had to repeatedly tell him his plan is more expensive then the SERO plan, but he claimed he could add a second line. I agreed and after 10 minutes he realized it couldn't be done.

It pays to let them know that you dont want them to call you anymore. I told them to stop calling and they have not called me since. I even recieved a letter in the mail that informed me that I was opting out.

She didn't have any info about my account other than the fact that I could upgrade with her over the phone to a cheaper plan with more minutes. Ha!! how can you get cheaper than the Sero plan. I wasn't gunna give her any of my account info. I was with sprint for four years with my old phone and never got a phone call from them ever. Now when I get a new number and new phone they call me after 4 months??? Was this call ligit? I feel like they owe me the 4 anytime min they stole from me. Anyone get calls from sprint?
I got a mialing from them telling me that becasue of my length of service (8 years) I was now a "Sprint Premium Member" which entitled me to yearly upgrades and discounts. That's actually how I got my Moto. Problem is, when you call Sprint, they don't know anything about the promotion so it took me like 2 hours to get everything they promised and walk the 3 reps through the process. Hopefully patience will pay off when my Moto gets here today!

Let me tell you about sprint and their customer service. I requested to trade a mogul (with extremely poor battery life) for a Moto Q9c, they said no problem it would be shipped with a return kit for my mogul. after numerous e-mails, phone calls and a trip to a corporate store, I finally got the new phone a month later (was originially promised 3-5 business days) along with a brand new mogul that I was charged for, never got the return kit for the old mogul and now waiting for a return kit for the new mogul. I think their customer service is manned (womanned) by high school drop outs.

What annoys me is that Sprint doesn't filter their call list to remove SERO people who obviously won't be buying service at regular price. The last caller said she would get me a Q9C to replace my Q for just shipping fee and then said she had to get a supervisor OK and left me hanging on for 10 minutes until the call got dropped. The one before that did a similar thing. Why don't they just say they can't match SERO and save everyone time?

Smile Improvements?

OK, I am still trying to make sure I am not dreaming. I posted earlier in the week about my nightmare experience trying to get an upgrade to my moto Q after Sprint sent me a snail mail packet welcoming me to thier premiere member club.

Long story short, that process was two hours and 4 sales reps before everything was straightened out and I was dreading getting my bill and having to call back and fix the credits, rebates etc...

I just got off the phone from someone from thier customer relations office who called me to apologize for the inconvenience, walked through my current bill with me on the phone, removed some dangling charge that would have to be addressed later and treated me like a valued customer! I am not making this up. He thanked me for letting them know there had been challenges to me during the initial process.

It almost felt like I was dealing with the folks at Disney not Sprint. This is the first time in the eight years that I have been with Sprint that they have followed up on a complaint, let alone took the time to straighten it out for me.

A new moto Q and a great customer service experience at Sprint! What a week!

I got 2 defective q9c's from the warehouse before I finally got a fully funtional one without any problems. I got on csr from canada and she called me every 3 days to follow up with me. she did this for about 2 weeks to make sure I was completely satisfied with my phone. been with sprint for 5 yrs and she was by far the best rep i've ever dealt with. I was so amazed with her doing the follow ups like she said she would that I wish I had a way to send her some flowers.
