51% of all your calls must be on Sprints network. If they are not they can charge you extra and terminate your service if it continues.

This is what is the truth about it.

Sprint does have the right to terminate you.

You can breach your contract if you move to somewhere that you do not get service as well. No service = void of contract.

I am sure if you are roaming in areas where they know they have Sprint converage they will call you and tell you to change your phone settings to Sprint only and just charge you the extra. I have never had a customer come in with that problem before though.

Is the 50% the 50% of my total minutes allowed that month (500) or the minutes I have used the month because I only use about 50 minutes each month but they are all roaming.

I did some research into this yesterday because im hoping if i roam enough theyll drop me! and in the terms and conditions it states that Sprint may terminate serivce if 1) more than 800 minutes 2) majority of minutes or (3) a majority of data kilobytes in a given month are used while roaming. I have the fair and flexible plan and my nights start at 6 so after 6 i will go to roaming only im hoping they will either help me with my phone because i complained about my dropped calls and lack of service with the q or they drop me. Hope this helps if you wanna read more into it i found the terms and conditions on the sprint website on the plans page on the very bottom.

I have had Verizon, T Mobile, GTE (now Verizon) and now Sprint whom I've had for the past 10 yrs. Sometimes it is just best to cancel, take the hit on the fee and move on. I mean think about it? Depending on how much time you have left on your contract vs. how much you pay per month, you'd probably save money.

Its 50% of minutes used is what I've been told. jclil1one posted the ToS though which states more details.

I've never actually heard of anyone getting in trouble for roaming too much. Not even a letter or a call. I think you have to do it for a few months consecutive before they'll start to care. If it happens one month, they'll probably let it slide. If you do it 3-6 months consistently, that might get their attention.

I personally have no reason to leave Sprint. There are a few places I go where the service is crap, so I just put my phone to roaming when I'm there. Overall I've been pretty happy with my service and no other carrier can match the SERO plan. With SERO, I would rather have a few dead spots and a cheap plan than pay more than twice and have perfect service everywhere I go.

Come on, you can't beat $30/month for 500 minutes, free roaming, 7pm nights, unlimited internet, unlimited texting, unlimited m2m. If I had that on Verizon, it would easily be over $70/month.

Seriously, is dropping me the worst thing that can happen?
If I wanted to get out of my contract I would just start roaming 100% of the time and hope they drop me!
