Default Sprint Q -ORB- and Online Videos

I've been searching around for ways to get YouTube and Google Video on my Sprint Q and ran into a lot of confused people who were trying Flash Lite etc etc. I thought I'd help out all you confused folks out there with this post...

I'm sure most of you have already heard of Orb.com - but seriously...that's all you need to get YouTube and Google Video in your phone.

1. Go to orb.com
2. Register FREE
3. Download Software. Set it up on your PC. Configure your media
4. Log into mycast.orb.com from your Smartphone
5. Go to your media folders. Pick what you want to view.
6. Done.

As far as Youtube/Google Video - From the blue tool bar in the Orb.com site on your phone, you can see "HOME,TV,Audio,Video,Photo etc etc" on the top

1. Go to "Video"
2. It should display a list "Favorites, Most played etc etc"
3. Scroll all the way down to "Online Videos."

That will take you to a screen with FIVE different online video sites:
YouTube, Google, Yahoo, Daily Motion, and Guba.

Enjoy! I certainly hope this helps all of you frustrated with searching like I was. Use ORB and make sure you have the $15/month powervision unlimited plan with Sprint.

Orb is nice for connecting to your home PC. You can access your music, video, files, and stream tv. For a simple solution to searching videos try tinytube.net or there was another site posted today which I cant find right now. Anyone know if there is a VNC application for the Q?

not exactly sure what youre asking about windows media, but ive been using orb for over a year now and it doesnt mess with anything. when you install it all you do is point it to where you store your media and when you login remotely you can then access it. its a fantastic program and with evdo speeds makes watching video on your mobile device very cool

Just signed up and have to say this program is definitely very cool. I added my music file from my computer, sign in my my Q and have instant access for pretty much any file I can tell it to give me access to as long as my computer is on.
