One thing I didn't say before, the Q has Pocket MSN and the BJ doesn't. Since my personal mail is Hotmail (Live Mail actually) and my work mail is Exchange, it'll be far more convienient to have the app then to have to log into the mobile mail website all the time.

I'm very surprised that the BlackJack doesn't have Pocket MSN. I wouldn't think Microsoft would allow carriers to get rid of that (assuming it wasn't something that Verizon added).

Are you sure it wasn't buried in the menu structure somewhere? I played with the BlackJack for 5-10 minutes and found navigating things a bit more difficult than on the Q, so maybe I missed some things. (Although I don't specifically recall seeing Pocket MSN, it's not something that I use, so I wouldn't have been looking for it.)

It was something I read on another forum.

BTW, I called up a corporate store today, he said it would be the middle of Feburary before he had Q's in the stores. The store I went to Monday was a 3rd party.

Hi Everyone,
For those of you lucky enough to have the Sprint Q already, can you tell me if you are able to receive the live TV channels? Was hoping you could because I want to switch from Verizon...Thanks

I get live TV using my slingbox and the slingmobile player, does that count?

Just got my Sprint Q activated today, pretty spiffy. This is my first smart phone/pda ever, and I am quite impressed. The only thing to note so far is that EVDO service is really sensitive to the bars of service. Voice calls never where a factor in my house at one bar, but at one bar the streaming video from the sling box crawls to a stop. If i get 3 bars back, it works great nice smooth video with good smooth audio.

Yes it does count but I guess what I meant was the Live TV that Sprint offers as part of it's power vision data packages..thanks..glad to hear you like the Q

Well, the NFL link on internet explorer is all I see on the Q, I imagine there is video somewhere on that site, but after a couple of minutes of searching at looking at the links, I'd say the the claim for NFL TV is a joke. There is are links to scores and stuff, but I don't see any outright in your face links that say "VIDEO HERE"....espn probablly a better chance for any video...

Not the Q doesn't support any of thosew multimedia features that Sprint offers other than NFL thingy. Furthermore, I was on the phone with one of their reps and it doesn't even do MMS. No windows based phone on Sprint does MMS. The phone has the option on it, but its disabled. That's some straight up BS!!!!!!!

That's exactly what I thought...it's funny how when you get different people at CS they give you different answers....well I guess I'll wait and see what else may become available..if I hear anything different or you guys find out anymore..let me know..thanks

I also took the liberty of calling Motorola and asked them why MMS wasn't available, They told me that Sprint disabled it for their service. Now for the life of me, I can't figure out a logical reason why they would do that. !st I had the Treo 700p and I couldnt do anything with pictures people sent me from the cell carriers, Sprint or any other. So I complained and they sent me the 700wx which can't Send MMS and now I have the Q that can't do nothing either. That makes 4 PDA phones I've had in 6 months. Of the 4, only my treo 650 was able to do everything I liked. Thats a lot of money to spend in a short period of time.

PS
The Q isn't compatible with nothing other than the 2GB flash card.
