Default Sprint on Demand

I had this on my Krzr.(only had for a week while I was waiting for Q) I like they installed this on moto Q. It takes the place of a few Favorites on my IE list and is quicker for getting Movie showtimes ,weather, directions etc. Handy little app for basic quick info when on the go. I like how it has all area code updated info too. Anyone else use this?

I could never get it to install. It goes through the gyrations with the .net download, says it installs, then it makes me reinstall. Basically, I never have been able to finalize the install. No clue why.

The icon labelled "Get On Demand" is the installer, the icon labelled "On Demand" is the program. When you run "Get On Demand" it will creat a "On Demand" icon, if you click "Get On Demand" again, your just needlessly running the installer again, so click "On Demand"...

certain features of on demand are an extra charge (ie: 411)

things like news and movie times are free...i would recommend paying the 5 dollars though...the 411 is spectacular

I experienced this as well. And contrary to the assumption another poster made, I was not doing the "installer" multiple times. I was doing it correctly, I simply could not get past the part "to use this application, you must install .NET framework" or something to that effect. And this occurred even though I had previously successfully let it install the .Net cab as instructed.

What finally allowed it to work for me was to let the .Net install on the DEVICE (not the Storage Card). Once I did that, it worked fine.

It consumes about 4 MB of storage on the device. I plan to give that a try and if I find I don't like it, I'll then remove it.

Bottom line: Try Installing the .Net part to the DEVICE (not the Storage Card).

Hope this helps.

Definitely worth keeping. It pretty much covers all the things you need internet on the go for. Here's some of my favorites it has replaced.
Driving directions,
Movie Times,
Local Weather,
Yellowpages,
News and stocks,
what more do you really need? The rest is all entertainment. I find myself not even needing IE when I'm on the move,(except to manage my bank accts.) On Demand is just more convenient. Great addition to Moto Q.
