has anyone had any luck trying to access the streaming music channels that comes with the everything plan..my instinct gets it but the q9c cant..thanks

Good question. I like to get all I pay for so I'd like to check this out too.
It's not supported on the 9c, at least I don't get it as an available download, but then again I haven't been able to figure out the "Digital Lounge".

If we could get a link to the music app download. Most of the Sprint stuff on my phone was a download link then it converted to the app, we could give it a go.

hmmm... Some quick checking seems to indicate the music app is a java program in the windows directory.

well after about 45 minutes of talking to a cust svc rep and a technical rep, they will be putting in a ticket to see why it cannot be accessed on the Q9C. I bought an Instinct for the Wifey also and she can get the music just fine.. The tech support person said that she didnt understand why it does not work for the Q9C also,..I'll let you know what they tell me in afew days

Got a call from CS..they left a VM on my cell..her explanation was that the music was part of the promo for the Instinct and that I would have to DL the application at a cost if I wanted access..I didnt bother to call back because its not a big deal..

Please clarify-

Are you trying to access Sprint Radio through the Sprint TV application or are you wanting to use the Sprint Music Store?

Either way, neither is a go for the Q9c. I don't understand why you can't access Sprint Radio, as that's apart of Sprint TV on every non-pda phone, so that shouldn't be THAT hard to add.

As for Sprint Music Store, you would theortically need to have Java loaded on the Q9c, as the Music Store App is Java-based.

That said, and I've never tried it because I don't have a need to "purchase" MP3's from Sprint for $.99 a song, you may be able to put Java on the phone, then load a "bootleg" extraction from another Windows Mobile phone's ROM.
