Default Sprint Insurance Increase

I noticed the other day that the insurance costs of my Q have increased from $6 to $7. I was informed by Sprint that this increase took place on February 18th and affects everyone. Supposedly they sent a notice about this but I haven't received it yet. Just a heads up.

Yah been hearing about this for a lil'while... One good thing about it, it's a chance to end your contracts, penalty free, if you want to that is... because they are chaning the terms of the agreement.

actually the price increase doesn't given an out for the contract, because proper notification was sent out for all those w/ insurance. paying the $7 is silly anyway. just pay for the erp, which only covers lost/stolen. if your phone breaks, call in and report it "lost/stolen". the deductible for replacement is the same and you save 3 bucks a month.

yeah the only time it gives you a way out of your contract is if they change something that is not an optional feature...such as the pay per use sms rates. Insurance doesn't count

Is that right? Do you have to file a police report? How many claims can you submit, is it still a limit of 2 per year? I was trying to search for more information about this but couldn't find any so am stuck with the full coverage.

I wouldn't think you would if you lost it, but not sure.

JESUS HOLY CHRIST!!!

Are you actually advising he commit insurance fraud on a public forum?

GOOD GOD!

Sure hope you do not have kids or that if you do, they never see a 'parent' actually plan their actions around a scam.

If you are a professional grifter then the above obviously does not apply to you. My apologies.

Jeez did someone call the morality police? That said I don't see how they could require you file a police report over a lost phone claim. You can't report that to the police. lol

Just don't be stupid and say it was stolen because they'll want it to be reported. You lost it. Oops you left it behind at McDonalds or something stupid like that.
