Need Help Sprint has gone really downhill in my opinion.

I'm quickly losing faith in Sprint. I talked to 4 different Sprint customer service reps, two telling me that the new offered unlimited plan is available as a family plan, and two telling me it is not, go figure. Also, be aware that most of you will not get customer service until late this week due to a billing upgrade, and the reps seem to be in vacation mode just telling everyone to call back later, and not wanting to help you out. Anyone know the specifics of this $119.99 plan? I posted the website a week ago or so, and I am located in an area that qualifies for this plan. Just want to know if anyone successfully switched over to this plan?

Also, my retentions replaced Motorola Q (1st one was sent back for defective hardware), now has keys on the upper left that barely function. My wife has the same phone with no problems. This is getting quite annoying... the retentions line did nothing for me, telling me I need to use the manufactures warranty, or the insurance to get a new phone? What are they crazy? They send me another defective phone, and now I have to pay more to get a working one? Sprint has really gone downhill in my opinion. At this rate my wife and I will switch to Verizon once we move back to Florida this summer.

getting the insurance is the easiest way to swap out with them $7/m. If its an Insurance claim for a functional issue, the swap is free.

Currently on Q1.3 and quite often keystrokes aren't recognized, d-pad worn out. Any worse and I will need a small sledge hammer for it to recognize the chrome button thingy. Still debating on swapping this one out.

I took my phone to Sprint yesterday for some technical issues. They told me they couldn't even look at my phone, I couldn't pay the bill, etc. until Friday after the system merge. It's not affecting everyone, it depends on your phone number whne it's merged into the new system. Mine juts happen to be this week. I did a master reset and loadng all my goodies back on, which has seemed to work so far. Your first step is to backup the phone, then do a master reset. That's seems to help for most problems.

Second, on the billing option, I'm paying $199.00 for 1400 minutes for a Q and a Treo. I have unlimited text messages for both phones and the unlimited data plan for both phones, I also have the Pantech wireless internet card. I think my data plans are $10.00 and $15.00 for each phone. I don't use the Treo to go online much, and I got rid of some of the stupid features of Sprint Vision like the music downloads and Sprint TV. It wan't much on their anyway.

I have the insurance also at $7.00 a month. I lost my phone a few weeks ago and called esurance to get a replacement after paying the $50.00 non refundable charge. So, if you loose your phone and pay the $50.00 and then find the phone, you still don't get the $50.00 back.

Speaking of Sprint. Read where they're fighting to keep customers with them. Said that going with Nextel was the worst thing they could have done, but said that it was too late to think about that now.
