If you are getting speeds at about 164 you should check the following. Within IE goto tools>options>connections. Then make sure you check off automaticaly detect settings and also select your network as "The Internet". After I did the recent upgrade I was only getting about 164 on the 600k test. I then changed the settings and Im now getting about 850 on the 600k test.

I did this...Still sitting in my cube at Sprint...no change in my result.

i tried that and it didn't change anything either, but then i went back and made sure "automatically detect settings" WAS checked....and selected "the internet" under network..and then i got 845kb. I am not sure whether the previous poster meant check the box or uncheck it....but now my speeds are fast...thanks!

Still no change. 380K - 480K I must be in the zone of average.

Now i am not so sure it affected me either...I am dipping back to around 250-360kb.

2nd time: 353 kbit/sec (near the kitchen window )

I often wonder if it's all the concrete and steel in those buildings. Which building are you in? 6550 for me.

I get a decent speed at home
628 on the 600K test and we live a good distance from any towers.
