speratic internet

Lately Ive had speratic internet. It will work fine for a bit then goes to crap. Stays on " opening......" then eventualy displays a blank page. Tried the following:

- kill all apps and re-launch pie
- checked nut behind keyboard
- update vision profile
- reboot
- pull battery
- master reset
- harsh language

Not sure if this is a Sprint or Q issue. Basicaly I have 5-10 min of web time before it acts up, then nothing for a good 20 min. Then magicaly its fine again :-{

I would check to make sure you have the latest MOL update. Plenty of threads in this forum regarding Sprint's MOL updates and what they can do.

clear your temp files, history and cookies and then reboot the device....

it did it right after a master reset, so history and temp files wrent an issue this time. Gonna try MOL updates this weekend and see if that fixes it or turns it into a fancy paperweight :-)

well, a master reset will definitely clear those files....that's usually the problem when you get those symptoms....

mike250rs, are you still having problems? Mine does the same thing. I can't access webpages, so I go to Update Vision Profile, and it works again. I am trying to avoid a master reset, because I have lots of 3rd party apps I would have to reinstall, but, it may come down to that....

the master reset didn't help, but it is on the tech support checklist...so if you call in be prepared to do one. I'm taking mine in to the shop and the will nore than likely swap for another Q as I have other issues with this one.

OK, thanks for the info. I also don't think I am on the latest firmware. So, I guess I better make sure I have all the setup programs for my 3rd party apps and all the customizations I have done written down....
