Mine is finally fixed as of this morning. Had to have been a tower issue that finally got to the right person only after I threatened to change carriers.

- update -

Got my new (to me) Q1.3 the other day. Still get the same nternet issues, so I know its not the phone. I plan on sending an email to ecare later today. Calling tech support will only result in needless master resets and another phone swap.

Do you and other people that are having these issues also have low signal strength? Or us your signal great but it's just not connecting?

When I was having these problems, it was both when I had full signal and only one bar. Now, it is working no matter what signal I have. So who knows.....

We were not having any signal problems. We also were not having the problem anywhere but in our own neighborhood. Another symptom of the problem we were having is that after you were done with the internet you HAD to make a phone call before it disconnected from the internet and you couldn't receive a call until you made one. If you forgot to do this, it stayed connected and drained your battery very fast. The fact that the problem miraculously disappeared sometime between last Wednesday night and Thursday morning without us doing anything to our phones (we both have the same phones and had the same problem) says to me that it was a network problem of some sort whether tower related or not. The DNS server addresses which are in our phones are still not reachable using ping or trace, but the problem is fixed for us.

- update -

called tech support this morning, told them my replacment Q was doing exact thing as old one. went thru the checklist..looked at towers..blah blah. Finnaly decided to remove the data package from account then add it back. Did this around 5am...so far no slowdowns or anything.
