I doubt that it's a phone problem. We both in my house have them and both are having the same problems which started approx Wednesday Dec 26th. We've had our phones for 6 months with no hardware problems.

this happens all the time - I've experienced this with every phone windows mobile phone I've ever owned. not to say that its a WM issue. I think it has to do with network coveage and sometimes the network is just spotty. what has always fixed it is going into wireless manager and disabling the data connection. once you do that it will reconnect automatically establish a new data connection and you should be back in action.

it does temporarly fix the issue, but when it needs to be done 15+ times a day..well its annoying to say the least.

Hopefully I won't jinx myself, but for the last few days I have not had any problems. For a while, around Christmas, I was in the same boat. Internet would work 30 minutes or so, then I would have to go through settings and Update my Vision Profile to get it to work again.

I live near Memphis, TN. Not sure if geographical locations are affected or if it is sporadic all over the country....

Well, I just tried from my PC to ping both of the DNS addresses which are in my phone and they both timed out. I'd say that DNS is the problem. I'm going to try to email tech support and get it kicked upstairs. Probably won't happen on a Saturday, however.

Am I the only one that just gets spotty Sprint service? I have all of these problems, but they seem to mainly occur only inside my house where i get one to zero bars most of the time. When I'm out side (most place...) or at work i get full bars and these issues hardly happen. The odd thing is, even when i have zero or one bars at my house, everything but data works flawlessly.

Maybe my data would work better if Sprint wasn't going through these issues as well? I wonder if there is anyway to boost the signal i get around my house...

I was thinking just some tinfoil. :-p

Hopefully Sprint will just make more towers, although they say I'm in great range, but even outside my house the best i get is barely 2 bars. Does anyone know anything else that could be updated down the line or anything Sprint might upgrade or update that would help my signal in the future?
