Default slow comcast email

Anyone know anything a bout this fix? I coppied it from another forum does it apply to the q as well?

I've noticed that since I configure my 8125 to connect to my @comcast.net mailbox to download mail, the login process would take up to 1 to 1.5 minutes at times. Unfortunately this is related to their SSL configuration and my 8125 wants to try SSL first which doesn't work so it has to timeout, hense the 1 minute delay.

I put in this registry entry, and it no longer tries SSL, so the login process occurs in under 3 seconds now. Just wanted to share this with anyone who has a @comcast.net account as well.

(1) Locate this registry key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox
(2) Create a new DWORD called "ForceOffSSL" (without the quotes) and give it a value of 1.
(3) Press and Hold the power off button to soft reset the 8125.
(4) Power up and you're all done.

Thanks,
I just tried it and it didn't seem to speed up the connection to Comcast... still very slow.
