Setting up email

Hello,

I just got my moto Q a few hours ago. Typical MS usability issues aside, I'm happy with it so far.

One thing I can't figure out how to do is setup email. Well, I have it configured (IMAP) for my work account. When I try to send/receive, I get the message:

Error - Your Internet connection is not configured properly. Please verify your settings in Data Connections.

I haven't found a specific "Data Connections" area, but I did go to Settings: Connections: Advanced and make sure Internet was set to Sprint (also tried the other setting, Automatic.)

Still I receive the above error. I have Power Vision (regrettably, as I had the original vision plan so now I have to pay for both text messaging and picture mail )

I searched this site, didn't see anything about getting it to work with regular IMAP accounts.

it's most likey your setting is off. contact your it department.

i had a same problem. i had a wrong domail name on.

spell check your setting.

I am my IT department ;) I've triple checked my settings. I've setup countless email accounts before, so I'm pretty familiar with all of it...

It works! Didn't change a setting, but it looks like the problem may have just been that my phone was new and something wasn't completely setup yet.
