A correction from what I said earlier, you need to be careful about the activation:

Even though Sprint claims that you need to activate the phone after you receive it, it doesn't seem to be the case.

My friend ordered a Motorola Q and it came activated, everything was ready to go right out of the box.

Hey Guys,

I have good news, after 20 phone calls in the course of 3 weeks, they have upgraded my shipping to overnight for free and Motorola Q is now in stock as of 4:43pm Eastern Time.

I was told by a customer rep that the phone will be shipped tomorrow, and I will receive it on Friday.

After so much struggling, waiting and frustration, I hope all of you receive your Q. Good luck.

P.S. I've recorded the conversation on the phone just in case it was a BIG lie.

lol, let me know if you really get next day shipping cuz i keep getting told im getting free next day air but next time i call, they tell me i have 2nd day air. tons of other people, same story, they get promised next day and end up getting 2nd day air. i wish it could get shipped today so i can get my phone but last time i checked, they have over 500 Q orders in queue waiting to be shipped.

I guess they are giving the same speech to everyone...I even got this which I laughed out loud. "We are currently out of stock....I mean we have the phone in stock and will be sending it out tomorrow next day air because today's mailings has already gone for the day."

Wow, who is the rep telling them to pull the answer out of their a**? It is too funny! I can't believe all the hassle they give us just for the q, when it is in stock at the store!

if you don't have much experience with this company, you will soon find out. pretty much they will tell you anything to hang up. they know they won't be getting the phone in so they keep saying 72 hours, its been 3 weeks now. you think you got next day air? so did everyone else who got it 2 days later. if this deal wasn't so good, i would not put up with this. you're just gonna have to go for another phone thats in stock but i think we all want the Q. I just dont understand why they're promoting the Q again when they dont even have it in stock.

So yeah, they told me the phone would be shipped tomorrow, and arrive on Friday. But according to the FedEx tracking page, it's actually shipped today and arriving tomorrow. Here's what I got:
