Got the Q9c a couple of weeks ago and was thrilled at the extended battery and battery life and not having to turn the phone off from time to time to get on the internet. Well now, back to performing like the old Q. I worked last night so charged my phone while asleep. Turned on about 4 pm and at 10 already down to 2 bars! I don't have to turn the phone off as much as I did the Original Q but it's still necessary from time to time. While the Q9c is an improvement it seems the more things change, the more they stay the same.

major bummer... i'm kind of shying away from the Q9, especially since i have such a great working Q1.

any plans on how you will proceed from here ?

Thanks for the info. Even though it's not "good news" its still good news to hear. I might be getting a Q9 through insurance and I'm trying to figure what to think about it.

I'll just deal with the quirks. Not giving up my Q, haven't seen anything else there that I want. And any phone is going to have some problems or quirks. Got this phone setup the way I want so I'll just b***ch and moan from time to time but I'm keeping it.

hahahaha!!! i understand. My q is giving me lots of fits, but I still love it. Wouldn't go back to WM5 professional to save my life!!!!

My Q1 has improved regarding the internet issues, still have to go thru the rutine,but not nearly as much. Maybe Sprint is working on their problem.

In all fairness, if you hae a legit issue they do try and work with you. Only took one polite email to ecare and I got unlimited data for $10/m. Haven't had an issue with swaping out a phone with functional problems. It's just soo easy to bash on them..couldn't resist :-)
