Default reception

anyone know why, in a full coverage area i only get one or two bars? I live in youngwood pa and it has full coverage and yet i only get one or two bars outside. any thoughts?

Me too. But when I drive around town I see most main streets and plenty other areas get 3-4 bars. When I bring Q to my friends house I get 4 bars. Same thing with vzw Q.

could be any number of factors why you have poor reception in an area where "the map" says you have "full" coverage.

Maybe metal in the walls of the building you are in? Maybe something as simple as cellular deadspots due to topography?

Could be, i live in a brownstone that was converted into apartments. So as bugs bunny says "AHHHHHH Could be?"

I notice when my bars go to 1. If I turn phone off then on I get 2 bars once agan.

I have noticed my new replacement Q has a weaker signal than the last one. Where I used to get 2 bars I get 1. Where I used to get 1 bar I get none. I hope the update fixes radio on this one because everything else has worked perfect.
