Default Q9c Replacement(?)

Bought a used Q9c with some scratches.

Took it to the non-corp store since they'll only replace. They won't even check the complaint.

Here's the concern, I'm not 100% sure of what I'll get as a replacement. I told her a bunch of times it was a 9c. She said they've been replacing the 9 with 9cs. "Ok but it IS a 9c".

So I'll get a 9c right?!?
Put my mind to ease I'm not gonna get a downgrade.

My understanding is, that Sprint no longer carries the Q9c, and when I took my phone(q9c) up to Sprint today they ordered me a Samsung Ace because of its similar features to the Motorola Q9c. I am debating on whether or not I am going to wait because switching over to the Ace feels like a downgrade, and there could possibly be a newer version coming out and I would rather upgrade to that. I am pretty sure you won't be getting a Motorola Q9c.

That unacceptable. They had a piece of paper stating they had no control over what model or when it's delivered I had to fill out before they ordered.
I won't be giving it up if it's not a 9c.

Now I'm worried.

FYI: The guidelines of TEP state they will replace your device with the same or comparable model. The Ace is comparable.

The Q9c is still available for replacement.

Go to a corporate store. You'll get a 9c even if they have to order it from another store on the opposite coast.

Just be sure its not liquid damaged and it doesnt have any damage to the circuit board.

If you have TEP you could also say you lost it and they'll send you a phone. Keep in mind you'll be billed 50 bucks.

That's the thing. There's really nothing wrong with the phone except the bezel.
The corporate store will try to fix it, not just replace it. But they'll test it before they do that.

Taking it to a non-corp store, at least this one, they'll just replace it.
They don't even charge the $50 since they're not capable of repairs.

I would mind the paying $50, but I a n00b at this.

I just took a look at a BlackJack II, I was walking past a Radio Shack, it's not terrible and the Ace is supposed to be better.
But with no GPS & no 6.1: Downgrade

Heck they should just give me an Instinct (;

I was actually hoping that the replacement phone would be the new treo. GPS, wifi, 6.1, and a touchscreen with full keypad.

Just replace the bezel yourself... That's what I did.
