I went to check scores on my 9c today and when i opened PIE it had a download for Pocket Express.

Well I downloaded it and went to access the sports section and it tells me I dont have a subscription for the Sports channel? OnDemand never did this crap. Anyone else running into this?

it tells me to visit a website, which I still have to do. but has anyone else downloaded this?

Oh yea and it adds crap to your home screen by default. Just an FYI

It was replaced with this Pocket Express.

That's strange, I went and checked mine after you posted this and on demand is still working. I also checked out the link and pocket express looks almost the same.

Ok, I just downloaded pocket express. It works fine for me (still almost exactly like on demand). And the home screen crap can be turned off. Just go to express settings and press up, then highlight homescreen.

Yea, I figured out the homscreen stuff right away. was just warning everyone else about it.

I am going to the site it directed me to today to see if I can get my sports working!
It does look identical to OnDemand, mainly because its the same thing lol

I went to the site it requested me to go to. And now it appears to be working. Pretty lame, the site did nothing but ask me to download it again.

I like Pocket Express more, and on startup it said it is replacing OnDemand.

Mostly I like the homescreen additions. In particular, it's nice because there's finally a way to get weather on your homescreen without paying for a third-party app, and the auto-updating news ticker is pretty cool since it scrolls headlines on the homescreen. I did turn off the pretty obnoxious looking stock ticker right away though.

I think the weather gets into a lot more detail than OnDemand used to...you can drill down into a particular day and for the current day it gives a lot of information for different parts of the day (morning, afternoon, evening, night).
