Default Phone just turns off...

I am having the problem for over a week. I have the latest update from sprint/moto and its really starting to piss me off. It seems to only happen when i send a text. I am about to call them and give someone a piece of my mind tomorrow. Ive read that people have exchanged their phone for the Q9... were they speaking to sprint or Motorola? cause I am fed up with this phone...

those of us who got it exchanged (various reasons) Were all emailing e-care, just look under the "contact us" on sprint's website. Don't know if it will still work or not, but it's worth a try.

are you talking about the email under the customer service that sends you to this page?

http://search.sprint.com/inquiraapp/contact.jsp

"I have had a Motorola Q now for about 6 months. When I first got it, I had a few issues with it and was referred to Motorola regarding my problems. I have since done all required updates to my phone and thought all issues were fixed. Now about 2 weeks ago my phone began to turn off by itself, mostly when sending text messages. I have done a master reset and reupdated and have tried a new battery while still having the same problems. " should I say something like this?

If so what did you type and what did you include with your email? this is enough to make me never get a motorola again or change to AT&T

Try calling Sprint Retentions and see if they will upgrade you to the Q9c (or at least replace your Q). If you're ready to leave Sprint over the issues with your Q, they might just accommodate you with a new Q.

Even if I had the email that I sent, it woudn't really apply as I didn't have problems with my Q1 either. But yes this is who I would talk to, just calmly describe your problems.

Ive called twice and each time they gave me a song and a dance and told me to call motorola. I have yet to call with the new issues. Guess I will do that and see if I can get someone who knows the pain we all go through with this piece of poo.

Call *2 and then say "Cancel", and you'll be sent to Retentions. Normally, *2 just sends you to regular CS, who may not be able to help you.
