I disagree, this helped me get my phone upgraded just fine. I am fully functional, and did not lose my contacts.

To update go to the last page in your settings folder, there should be a line " A PCS Vision"
select that and an options list will pop up
select "C Update Vision Profile"

hth,
Bill
Thanks Bill... I finally called customer support and after about 15 minutes on hold and nearly an hour of trying different things including several "PSC Vision" update attempts, ended up doing a full reset. Now works as before.

If anyone else has a similar problem, be ready for a long wait to get to someone at Sprint.

It sounds like your link to your mail server is setup wrong.
My send/recieve is greyed out also, until I usb to my work computer. I have it configured to connect via my usb to the mail server so if there isn't a connection it's greyed out.
HTH,
Bill

i agree.. The email account was deleted w/ the update so you have to recreate it.. once you do that send/receive will be available.

After the update I am now getting HORRIBLE battery life. Yesterday my phone died in about 6 hours, from full charge to off. I made no phone calls and went on the internet only briefly. Funny thing is when I first got the phone I was getting poor battery life, then I did a master reset one day and the life got much much better. Then i did this update and now it's worse than ever. I do try to keep all apps 'killed' and my backlight set very conservatively. Is there any way to undo the MOL update?

Man i just did this for a friend that has no tech knowledge. she trusted me and i wiped her pictures of her cruise in the carribean. then her phone went into roaming mode and she couldnt make or recieve calls. I spent alot of time convincing her she needed the update and i was lookin like a punk. Thank god for this web site, it had the forum that told me to dail *228 to reprogram her phone. It worked fine after that but i was sweating there for a second.

Bottom line- these uprgrades need to contain all the necessary safeguards to help the novice preserve their existing files and to also say you may need to *228 after the update to get the phone working again. some peple are smart with this, but most aren't. even just to say " drag all your Q photo's to your desktop PC before the update " would be better than nothing.

That's just weird. I did the update and didn't lose anything but the registry hacks. All media and personal info was still there.
