When I tried to update it said my phone already had the newest software. Here is what mine shows:

Radio Version Q2-BP_C_06.1E.00R,Q2 Portable
RIL Version 2.000
OS 5.1.195 (Builb 14960.2.4.0)

I got my Q on March 1st and after setting up my bluetooth was having a problem with sound from vidoe or audio playing through the speaker but it would play through the headset. I called Sprint and the tech sent me the instructions and link for the update. After the update everything is working great.

Hi, I'm new. Nice to meat everyone.

Got mine on March 20th. I had to update it but now it says
Radio Version Q2-BP_C_06.26.00R,Q2 Portable
RIL Version 2.000
OS 5.1.195 (bulid 14960.2.4.0)
Available Storage 45.38MB

The update went smoothly. I don't notice any difference in speed or functionality but I only had it for a day before I updated. I figured that I might as well do it now before I upload a bunch of stuff to it.

I'm new and I must say I love this phone. It blows the bulky "Are you happy to see me

" Treo 650 out of the water. The update was somewhat pain free. Although, I had to remove the battery once but other than that it was smooth sailing. Looking forward to a better battery life. Now I just need a good and complete Leather Case.

Hello All:

Well, I am in a world of hurt. Phone was working fine of course before I attempted to install update. It got through the first reboot without issue.

However, after I reconnected the phone, it started to install again and then the attempted to reboot itself, but only gets to the first Windows banner and then hard boots again. It is now caught in this loop. I tried removing the battery, I tried it with just the power cord, I tried a master reboot. Nothing is getting it past this loop!

HELP!

Do I now have a Sprint paper weight ??

It may not be a paperweight, but it does sound like a trip to the Sprint Store for you.
