So will you need to do the speed hacks like for Glycache and File System size? Or does the update take care of this?

Me and my wife installed the update on Friday evening, and I must say that I have not had the unable to place call error, and my battery life has been much better. Usually by the time I leave work, I only have 1-2 battery bars remaining, and when I left yesterday, i still had 3 bars, and when I got home, i still had.....3 bars. Thats excellent for a Windows Smartphone.

I was able to download successfully after 2 tries. I decided to be patient and allow it to finish doing what it needed to do before interupting. I interupted the first attempts because i thought the download had 'froze'.

I connect through our server at work (which I have no access/control of) for email and calendar events, the only way I could get my ActiveSync to work with the Exchange Server was to do a Master Reset after the software update. It's a little inconvienant, but my contacts are at home in Outlook so it wasn't hard to reload them. The only real pain was the 3rd party software, most of which was on my storage card, so it was only a matter of running them again.

I tell you what. this phone is really starting to frustrate me. But the problems I'm having with it are so small and the update they put out I trade 1 problem for another. Sometimes if I'm on my BT headset and I end a call the screen will remain black. If I try to wake up my phone it won't. Its as if I shut it off and it won't come back on. Small problems like this are annoying, but the overall experience I've had with this phone is great.

I just hope it gave my Q some better reception cuz' this last Q I got gets worse reeption than the first 2 sprint Q's I had(goin' on my 3rd sprint Q.) It says it updates the radio so I'm hopeing it'll fix my Q and bring it up to 2 bars like my other Q's.

I did the update and all of my email accounts disappeared. But when I used On Demand to send a news article , it showed them all again. Anybody know how to bring them back for good?

This is what mine says (I have done the update):
Radio Version Q2-BP_C_06.26.00R,Q2 Portable
RIL Version 2.000
OS 5.1.195 (Builb 14960.2.4.0)

I'm not sure what most of that is but I imagine the software version is the first line. Hope this helps.
