So the update for the sprint phone is 10 megs, but the verizon one is like 50 megs? I have a verizon Q right now, my sprint one is in the mail. Just getting ready for it and making sure I have the right update. Don't wanna install the wrong software on my brand new phone.

I got my Sprint Q a few weeks ago, and it came pre-updated.... chances are you won't have to worry about it.

The Sprint download is just a 10 megs just because is just the software, the real update is on line.

Verizon is a bigger once 50 megs just because is a standalone application. (wish they did the same with Sprint)

i just downloaded the update . now it says im roaming service and now i cant access the internet? whats going on

devtech, will the update on the motorola site eliminate the charging issues (i.e. i plug the q up at night and it'll take no charge) with the sprint q's? in the morning, i get up to find my q has run itself dead and it won't power up which leaves me with no cell for my morning at work... this issue is the only problem i've had with my q- otherwise, she's the perfect phone application wise.

im curious as well. when i visited the check for updates link via the sprint powerdeck bookmark it said there were updates available. i followed the link and d/l the s/w update program, which promptly told me that mine was up to date
