Default nfl mobile

Has anyone gotten nfl mobile to work on your sprint q? I go to the website at www.sprint.com/nfl and it says to text NFL to 7777. I do that and it texts me back a link that shows up as error on my phone. I thought sprint said nfl mobile would work on the Q?

I tried the same thing: Texting NFL to 7777, and I get a 404. I was under the impression that Sprint users get some fancy customized NFL mobile experience with videos and all; at least, that's what Sprint claims we get. But I can't get anything. The NFL Mobile site pre-installed in the Favorites of PIE just sucks. I don't like the WAP site either. I was hoping I could at least track my fantasy football players. I'm a little disappointed that my league even pays for hosting with NFL.com, but it doesn't let us access our league via mobile devices unless we pay $5/month EACH.

I did a little more looking around in-between commercials last night. When I access the Sprint website and look in their catalog at programs, I see the NFL Mobile app, as well as NFL Network (apparently streaming video) -- and both are free. However when I add either to my cart, it asks me to login. The default user is some guest account with a random POS phone.

However, after I login so I can download those 2 aforementioned apps, they disappear. In fact, the catalog looks ENTIRELY different. I went in both Entertainment and Applications, through every single category. It's very different. But it IS my Sprint ID, as I see my name, and the Motorola Q on the lefthand side. When I perform a search for NFL in the catalog after logging in... it yields no results.

When you go to check out the details on NFL Mobile, it shows the Q as one of the supported phones. I don't get it. I emailed customer service to see if they could help.

I'll update the post here when I receive a response.

I am able to access the NFL mobile site on my Q. I don't like it because it is not a very user-friendly site but I can go and read up on the latest news, see scores and enter my fantasy players. But as my fantasy teams are all on Yahoo, I don't visit the NFL mobile site much, if at all. But I did go just know to make sure I could and I was able to get on a navigate around a little.

Are you talking about the NFL Mobile website, or have you actually downloaded the application? They are two different things. The website blows.

And if the app is not compatible with the Q as Geoff101 indicates... that would suck. It seems like nothing works with the Sprint Q. I still haven't received anything back from Customer Service. I'm considering switching to a Blackberry if I can get a decent price out of a CSR.

I am talking about the website that came already loaded on my Q when I bought it. Haven't tried the app.

the app that you find on other phones is not compatible with the q. they have the website preinstalled in pie that is very similar to the prgram, but does not offer the full range of content. the program is java, which the q does not (natively) support. i remember people saying awhile back installing some sort of java environment in order to run an aim program, that may or may not work here and i couldnt point you to it. as for the streaming content, i wouldnt count on it for the same reasons that sprint tv and sprint radio are not supported on winmo devices
