New user from A900 ---> Q - Motorola Q Forum

Lets see.....

Cant send picture/video mail (I'm aware of the sMMS)
cant access sprint TV
Cant access any of the music channels
Only one Alarm (A900 had 3, i used 2 regularly)
The one alarm cant be set m-f so i have to remember to shut it off friday night

All this after 24 hours of trying to learn this phone... I got it yesterday, ready to go back to my blade now....

Also after attempting to navigate this site and the sprintusers forum, im left with little help from the peanut gallery..... although im still trying to browse through the applicable threads, ive got all day since the rain wont stop....

All negativity aside.... i just dont think this is the phone for me... I was excited to have a bigger screen for web browsing and the full QWERTY for messages, but the trade-off doesnt match up to what ive lost.

Any kind words for a fool who traded the world for a village?

oh and i almost forgot, cant use yahoo mail either

I'll assume this is a Q and not a Q9c.
I'd suggest looking into some 3rd party applications to fill in the gaps.
sMMS works great and there's a lot of free alarm programs I've seen availabe.
The music issue hasn't been "resolved" yet.

Yeah, just plain Q, although when i looked at it, my buddy said it was the 9c cuz of the blackish grey case.... My frustration lies in the fact that this is my first "PDA" type phone and its hard enough to learn something totally different, now i gotta learn 3rd party apps too? lol..... i was done hacking phones several years ago....

sMMS probably does work great, and ill give it a shot when ive learned the rest of the phone, but from what i understand it doesnt do vids, which i was able to do with my Blade....

I guess im just venting.... The rain doesnt help my mood.... lol

there are a few different alarm programs available that will do what you want, check out the EQ software store. also check out yahoo go, ( mobile.yahoo.com ).
