Just wanted to let everyone here know that the Q9c is back on the sprint website. it even states that it comes with Windows 6.1. So sprint just got rid of it to update it i guess.

This makes me glad, now if something happens to my phone i wont be force-fed a samsung Ace.

But still I wonder why they would do that.
Is it that important to get 6.1 on it?
Perhaps to "compete" with Verizon which only has 6.
Maybe to give the Instinct some breathing room?

probably figured it would be so much easier if they installed 6.1 than to deal with all the users calling in complaining that they couldn't get it to install or that thet don't have a computer to sync it.

How many would even know about the 6.1 update?
Those that knew about it would probably be able to pull it off.

there is so mush information out there it isn't funny. I mean, how else did you know 6.1 became available? think about it. :-)

Because I'm a gadget nerd. I even upgraded my wife's Treo700 to WM6.
I think most end users don't check for updates as long as it works.
In fact they might not like them. I had to change my wife's phone back because WM6 was different enough from WM5 that she disliked it.
We won't even get started on her and Vista.

I suppose that could be reason too. If one took their phone to a service center for some reason and it got updated by policy(?) to the latest they might not be happy about the change.
