A 4gb card will work as long as it is not the HC (high capacity) variety. There are a couple of threads on here about those that work. Also if you read your manual you will notice that the Q is supposed to come with a miniSD card. You can call up and request this card. They may send you a card out or may credit you if you have already purchased one.

the amendment insert that I got was pretty much just to say that the SD card and headset that the manual says comes with the phone do NOT come in the bundle. it then says the Q supports up to a 1gig card.

I was proud of myself for reading the manual but your telling me theres an amendment to read too! I will disagree with the amendment in saying that a 4 gig card definately will work.

yeap, misquote in the users manual. there are certain esns that motorola has identified that's affected by the misquote stating you get a 64mb sd card and headphones, no adendum. those who have the identified esns can call sprint and there's a 800 # for moto and they will send a complimentary sd card/headphones at no cost until 3/23/07.

my mini SD card wasnt being found, but I did the trick where you restart the phone with the card inside and it worked.

Hi i just got a new moto q 9m and i cant seem to find the mini sd anywhere on it. Where can i find it? i tried everything.

if your looking for the slot its most likely on the side like the orignal Q and probably behind some sort of cover

Sry what i meant was that i put the card in but i cant seem to find it in my phone so i can put stuff on it. where is it located? MY documents etc???

a folder called 'storage card' should appear
make sure its all the way in and hear a click

cant find it anywhere.. its the sd that came with my phone and it said it would automatically open when i put it in. i read all the manuals, and i am frustrated..
