Default Just got my Q, reception issues

Hello all, I am new to this forum and hoping you experts can be some help. I got my Q today. I'm noticing that my bars are always low. like 1 or 2. I can make calls fine but someone else in my office has a Q as well and his bars are at full strength and mine has 2. Also at my friend house his Sprint Razr gets full signal and again mine is 1-2 bars. Also when I come out a no reception area like a train station the signal takes forever to come back. Today it took almost 10 mins for it to come back. All my other phones, including my other sprint phones maybe 30 seconds. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with mine. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this common with the Q or is it just my phone? I know bars dont mean that much, just as long as you can make and recieve calls but i just find it wierd that someone elses Q has full signal and mine doesn't and we are in the same spot. I checked my network settings, its set to "automatic" should that be the setting?

I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. I'm a police officer and there are several guys who have the Moto Q from sprint. But I am the only one that has a weak signal. I called sprint and they said that if you have the insurance, they will exchange the phone for another. They said it may just be the antenna.

mine fluctuates also. i'll be at my desk, 4 bars, then down to none.

i don't worry about it much because i still have full signal and can talk on it just fine. i did however drop a call 3 times with one of my friends and i had 4 bars......it was getting a little ridiculas. i think it was a network error.
