IMAP Setup

Okay...I've gone through the proper setup protocols for IMAP setup, which is the main reason I got the Q...I need email on the road but don't want a CrackBerry...need more fiunctionality.

I'm having a little difficulty setting up since even after filling in the proper fields with the proper info, it still isn't downloading my emails, it just says it is (receiving headers, receiving folders, disconnecting, etc.).

Anyone have similar issues? On another note, is anyone getting Gmail directly to the mail feature (not via browser)? Can't do that either...and not too happy about it.

I don't about IMAP but Gmail works, though it's not without it's quirks. Gmail requires special setup, and you have to turn on POP in Gmail as well of course. Don't be surprised if your "sent" mail shows up in your inbox, that feature/bug/idiocincracy of Gmail.

Normally there would be a link in my signature with info on Gmail, but signatures do not appear when posting from a phone it seems (And I dont have the url to the thread memorized). So open my profile and do a search for all posts by ZATZAi, open one of them, more likely than not you will find a post of mine with a signature link for instructions on Gmail setup.
