ok i have not tried octro...but Palringo works for aim and multi messengers... i like it and i can select which msgr client to shut off...when i feel like it lol...its free

www.paliringo.com works on desk top as well.

hard to set up...ok if u say so. I thought it was pretty intuitive....musta been made by a girl....you know how confusing we are jk lol

you know i havent tried octro so maybe in comparison one is easier to set up than the other....

i prefer Slick IM (works fantastic, followed by palringo, then Octrotalk. all of which are better than oz messenger and $$ softwre

you've tried all of them and slick is the best even in its current test mode? it does look nicer than Octro on their site...

correct! even in its test mode. i even preferred it on mogul, although it didnt support the touchscreen aspect. it is wonderful. i think ive tried just about all the IM programs; mundo, agile, octro, IM+, palringo, oz, aol ppc... and i think Slick is the better of them all. mundu was slow and laggy, agile was a memory hog and slow, octro just couldnt stay connected, IM+ was good but a bit basic, palringo was just like octro, oz is takes forever to send and receive messages sometimes u miss message, aol ppc was just outdated.

download Octro on your Q and let the Q install it. Im useing it right now. =)
